Privacy notice
This notice describes how Jet Pearl, as a marketplace platform, processes your personal and browsing data to enhance your experience, hyper-personalize product recommendations, and enable platform access.
Jet Pearl and our marketplace
Jet Pearl is a curated fashion marketplace that connects buyers and sellers in a unified, innovative shopping experience powered by an intelligent assistant.
To deliver a tailored journey across our multi-seller catalog, we process data essential to operating the marketplace and continually developing personalized solutions aligned with your preferences.
Hyper-personalization of content and product recommendations
Following leading marketplace industry standards, we use browsing and platform interaction data to hyper-personalize content, collections, and product recommendations.
As you navigate our marketplace, we analyze explored categories, search terms, viewed products, and interaction patterns to train and refine our recommendation models, making brand and product discovery increasingly relevant, accurate, and tailored to your personal style.
Audience measurement and analytics
We use audience-measurement and analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with our marketplace and to continually improve user experience.
These tools record visits to these pages, which pages you view, when you leave them, scroll depth, the buttons and links you click, and interaction positions on the screen. They also record which steps of the invite request you reach, along with the page's language and character count of the reason text.
Measurement tools are never given the personal details you submit in the invite request form: not your name, your email address, or your notes. We do not record full screen video sessions.
These tools store an identifier in your browser (via cookies and local storage) so that return visits from the same browser can be recognized to measure aggregate traffic. You can manage, block, or clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings or by clearing your browser's site data.
What is kept in your browser
Your theme preference (light or dark) and language preference are kept in your own browser's local storage. Those values remain on your device so your preferences are honored upon each visit.
After you enter your code, the Jet Pearl API, at api.jetpearl.ai, keeps the __Host-jp_uac cookie in your browser. It is strictly necessary: it identifies your access so that your bag, your conversation with the assistant and your addresses are kept, and resumed when you come back on the same browser. It lasts 180 days, renewed each time it is used, and it is not used for advertising. When you sign in, what was kept while you were a visitor becomes part of your account.
Inside the app, on the Profile page, you can sign in with Google. Google's sign-in script is loaded from Google only on that page. When you sign in, your browser sends the Google credential to the Jet Pearl API at api.jetpearl.ai, which verifies it with Google and keeps your Google account identifier, your name and your verified email address as your account, so that your bag, your conversations, your addresses, your orders and your profile follow you to other devices. Your browser keeps your name and email in its local storage to show that you are signed in. Signing out ends this browser's access to the account and clears those values.
You can remove them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
The invite request and marketplace onboarding
The invite request form collects three things: your name, your email address, and optional notes regarding your fashion interests and style.
When you submit it, those details leave your browser for Jet Pearl's API at api.jetpearl.ai and are stored in Firebase Firestore, the database service Jet Pearl uses under Google Cloud. The purpose is one thing only: reviewing and answering your request for an invite and preparing your arrival at the marketplace. These details are not sold, not rented, and not passed on for third-party advertising.
